"Dallas weddings are polished, editorial, and detail-obsessed. Your bar should be too — without a per-drink bill to match."
The Short Answer
Across Dallas–Fort Worth — Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Arlington, Southlake — a professional mobile bartending package runs $700 to $1,800 (ice included) plus your alcohol, with a $50 travel fee for events beyond 30 miles of our New Braunfels base. Bartender-only service is $80 per hour for small gatherings.
DFW venue bar minimums are among the highest in Texas, which is exactly why a flat-rate dry hire bar is so popular here: you keep the luxury, lose the markup.
Our Flat-Rate Packages
Every package includes ice, cups, straws, napkins, garnishes, mixers, styled bar, setup and breakdown. DFW events add a single $50 travel fee.
Dallas Open Bar vs. Dry Hire
Dallas venues and licensed caterers routinely quote $40–$60 per guest for a 4–5 hour open bar, often with a $3,000–$5,000 bar minimum. For 120 guests that is $4,800–$7,200 — and you keep nothing.
With Sip N Social on Wheels, a 120-guest Dallas wedding looks like: Classy but Not Sassy ($1,200, ice included) + $50 travel + alcohol you buy at Total Wine or Spec's (typically $1,200–$2,000 for 120 guests on a curated menu) = roughly $2,450–$3,250 total, with every unopened bottle going home with you. Most DFW couples save $2,300–$3,800.
Where the Money Goes

- The bar: Our signature green wooden bar photographs like a piece of furniture — made for Dallas' editorial wedding aesthetic.

- Details: Frosted logo cups ($200), personalized photo stirrers ($150), or the bundle ($450).
DFW Planning Tips from Behind the Bar
- Check venue policies: Many Dallas venues allow outside dry hire bars with host liquor liability insurance — we can point you to an inexpensive policy.
- Signature cocktails built around one or two spirits simplify purchasing and cut alcohol cost by 20–30%.
- Champagne wall or espresso martini station? Both are big in DFW — quoted at consultation.
- Peak DFW dates (April–May, October–November) book 8–12 months out.

Frequently Asked
Questions We Hear Most
How much does a mobile bartender cost in Dallas?
In Dallas, a professional mobile bartending package typically runs $700 to $1,800 for a full event. Sip N Social on Wheels offers flat-rate packages that all include ice: Keeping It Simple ($700, 3 hours), Classy but Not Sassy ($1,200, 5 hours) and Sip N Premium ($1,800, 6 hours). Bartender-only service is $80 per hour.
Is alcohol included in the price?
No. We are a dry hire service, which means you purchase the alcohol directly (usually at wholesale or retail prices) and we handle everything else — the bar, bartenders, ice, mixers, garnishes, cups, and setup. This typically saves clients 30–50% compared to a licensed open bar.
Do you charge for travel?
We are based in the New Braunfels / San Antonio area and travel statewide. Dallas events carry a flat $50 travel fee — that is the only difference from our local pricing.
How far in advance should I book?
Peak wedding season dates (March–June and September–November) book 6–12 months out. We intentionally limit our calendar to around 20 weddings a year, so we recommend inquiring as soon as you have a date.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included in package pricing. Many clients choose to add 15–20% for the bar team or allow a tip jar at the bar.
